About The Opportunity

Nature’s Path has an opening for our Supply Planner/Senior Inventory Analyst. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the role will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of procedures supporting multi-site planning, and ensuring that the required levels of inventory are available in all warehouse locations.

This role will work on developing a regional multi-site forecast in collaboration with our sales and operations teams as well as generate reports for stakeholders by monitoring sales to forecast inventory and update the production plan and schedules as necessary.

In addition this role is responsible for ensuring timely decision and adjustments are being made to the demand plan by maintaining ongoing communications with Planning, Purchasing, Operations and Sales to advise of stock levels and changes recommended to the Production, Purchasing or Sales plans and working closely with these teams in implementing production strategies to satisfy new customers, promos, export orders, increased demand, etc.

 

Success in this role will require:

Education

  • Recognized degree in production/inventory management or equivalent training/experience

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in production planning and inventory management
  • Demonstrated effective use of ERP Software applications (IFS preferred)
  • Computer proficiency: ERP, MS Office Suite, with mastery level Excel skills
  • Must have superior organizational and problem-solving skills
